FR - Le Terrier est le dernier texte de Kafka, un monologue vertigineux en forme d’adresse, laissé inachevé. L’enjeu ici sera d’en faire l’expérience. Planches dépareillées et palettes de guingois plantées en intérieur en seront le terrain, Strike le corps. Intrications des mots et des lieux où Strike, lecteur, interprète et protagoniste se fondent, indiscernables. Mouvement labyrinthique à l’image du texte lui-même, en un va-et-vient entre dedans et dehors, du terrier-lieu au terrier-texte : son actualisation. (Nicolas Féodoroff FID Marseille 2018)
ENG - The Terrier is Kafka's last text, a vertiginous monologue left unfinished. The challenge here, is to have the cinematographical experience of the text. Mismatched planks and palettes are planted indoors. Strike, a fifty year old man is the main and only character. This intricacy of words and places blends together with Strike, reader, performer and protagonist. They become indistinguishable. The film uses the same labyrinthine movement as the text itself, back and forth between inside and outside, from the terrier-decor to the terrier-text: its actualization.
